The Proletariat Have Their Day in India

Fascinating. I could never imagine doing this to my CEO -- perhaps because I'm a product of modern times. However, US history has its share of these kinds of bloody battles between labor and management. I wonder if every country has to go through the motions to get to a state where there's relative (I said relative!!) harmony between labor and management.

Relatives of mine who worked in Soviet steel mills said that shift managers used to be thrown into vats of molten steel when they crossed the workers. Murder could never be proven because the bodies would vaporize.

I want to say something like, "Oh, I'm glad I live in modern times, this would never happen at [whatever lame job I have]" -- but I bet this stuff happens almost every day somewhere. Probably just not on a scale like what happened in India. This kind of stuff makes me not want to even have a job. IMO, the ideal job is being a mathematician/day trader.
