Obama wants your child to die of a horrible disease

... Not directly, but indirectly.

Obama recently signed in more of SCHIP. On the surface, it sounds like a good use of government to protect children.

There's just one problem: SCHIP will only make it more expensive to cover children's healthcare in the long run, particularly for those who aren't "poor enough."

Despite SCHIP, the number of uninsured children continues to rise, particularly among families that cannot qualify for SCHIP. An October 2007 study by the Vimo Research Group found that 68.7 percent of newly uninsured children were in families whose incomes were 200 percent of the federal poverty level or higher.[7]

The October 2007 study is entirely consistent with the same sorts of economics that are the reason for outrageous college tuition now. The healthcare system just expands to nullify the short-term effectiveness of federal financing of medical services. For tuition, the poor get a tuition break. The middle class work at Arby's and get shitty grades (from balancing school and work). The rich? They lobby for H1-B immigrants because middle-class college graduates are too stupid to make much more than a slimy roast-beef sandwich out of cattle that once chewed up what was left of the rain-forest.

Government ruined college affordability. Unless Joe Biden and his "middle-class taskforce" somehow figure out that Biden and his friends are the ones that are killing the middle class, we can be assured that children's healthcare will go the way of college tuition.

There's your change and hope, America.

I had a slight hope that Obama wouldn't aggressively act to pass such stupid legislation, but it turns out this guy really is a leftist dummy. He lives up to all the horrors I expected. Obama gets up on the podium and tells us there will be $500,000 salary caps for banks that take federal money, but he does this after he encourages the Senate and the House to pass bailouts that were overwhelmingly unpopular with the public to begin with.

Obama is a fraud, albeit our first presidential "African-American" fraud. I suppose that's something to be proud of: diversity in screwing us all over.
