Prem Sikka, one of the few accountants who is actually concerned with reducing tax avoidance, highlights the use of transfer pricing to avoid taxation. This is something that tax authorities need to be able to tackle if they are to stop multi-nationals structuring themselves in such a way that all their profits are assigned to subsiduaries in tax havens.
