Chris Dillow thinks he has noticed a difference in the way that state and private school pupils look . I'm not convinced. There may be difference in appearance between the rich and the poor - but am not sure middle-class state school kids and (generally slightly better off) middle-class private school kids look that different. Perhaps he is reading too much into things.
