Name that party--Alabama



The Birmingham News:

Alabama state Sen. E.B McClain and the Rev. Samuel Pettagrue were found guilty today on all 48 counts of bribery, money laundering and mail fraud after a trial before federal Judge Karon Bowdre.

McClain was accused of taking more than $300,000 of the $758,245 he obtained for Pettagrue's community outreach programs, including an online GED program.

No party identification is given, but I suspect they are Democrats. The Dems are more into the community outreach scams. I'm surprised there were no community organizers,
