Another welfare-state failure.
I'm starting to believe there is an intentional push by political leaders to transform the US into a manageable, third world nation with minimal consumption. I can see an American version of Mao's cultural revolution on the horizon if the uneducated keep growing like this.
14% illiteracy? That is truly a third world number. If it hits 20 to 25%, the poverty will be unmanageable -- the US would be similar to a place like India.
