Sen. * questions Palin's foreign policy experience?

Sen. Chuck Hagel of Nebraska is the nation's most prominent Republican officeholder to publicly question whether Sarah Palin has the experience to serve as president.

"She doesn't have any foreign policy credentials," Hagel said Wednesday in an interview. "You get a passport for the first time in your life last year? I mean, I don't know what you can say. You can't say anything."

This is from a guy who has been dead wrong on Iraq and opposed the successful surge and counterinsurgency strategy which inflicted a strategic defeat on al Qaeda. This is from a guy who was so out of touch on the issue that he could not register one percent with voters in surveys before the primaries. That is how he earned his title of Sen. * and he seems determined to keep it.
