Compaq introduced iPAQ in 1999. It is both a personal digital assistant (PDA) and a pocket personal computer as well. Compaq was acquired by Hewlett Packard. The products are now are now marketed under the brand name of HP. iPAQ combines mobile phone, palm top computer, PDA and smart phone.
