Sotomayor Confirmed

a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2009/08/07/us/politics/07confirm.html?_r=1amp;hp"68-31./a If I were a hack, this is where I would be outraged that many Republicans would vote against a qualified nominee because somehow Supreme Court nominees will be entirely non-ideological as long as only the president considers ideology. (The span style="font-style: italic;"content/span of Republican opposition to Sotomayor, of course, a href="http://www.prospect.org/csnc/blogs/tapped_archive?month=08amp;year=2009amp;base_name=say_hello_to_justice_sotomayor"is another matter./a) But since that stuff is nonsense, I'm perfectly pleased with the outcome. Hopefully she'll be a good justice.div class="blogger-post-footer"img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7163938-8770119357414391295?l=lefarkins.blogspot.com'//div
