The US House of Representatives switches its vote on the bailout



This article writes about the House switching from opposing the bailout bill to supporting it. The article suggests that constituent pressure - as they saw credit drying up and the Dow Jones falling - played a role. It also suggests the Senate vote played a role too.

One issue, though, isn't touched upon. I wonder if pressure from campaign contributors also made some of them change their votes.
